Raheim “The Dream” Brown

Managing Director // Basketball & Life Skills Coach

Born in New York and raised in Orlando, Raheim attended Colonial high school in Central Florida. During his high school days he was ranked amongst the top 30 players in the country (by Street & Smith and Bob Gibbons Reports), a leading candidate for Florida’s Mr. Basketball, and an honorable mention All-American after averaging 26.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 4 blocks a game during his senior season.

Unfortunately in the middle of his senior season at Colonial, Raheim suffered a horrific leg injury after being fouled by an opposing player while going up for a dunk. After sustaining two breaks in both his tibia and fibula bones and  having a titanium rod inserted into his right leg, Raheim was told by doctors that it would be very unlikely to play basketball at a high level again. After missing his entire freshman year rehabilitating his injury, Raheim made an inspirational comeback and played two seasons for the University of South Florida on a full athletic scholarship, before transferring to Florida Atlantic University. During his senior season, he led the team (17.2 points per game 10.1 rebounds per game and 1.9 blocks per game) to its first ever conference championship, and first NCAA Tournament appearance (2002) in school’s history.
